Aboriginal Legal Service Port Hedland

PcLS is not just another legal service, but a valuable community service that helps people through difficult and complex situations. PCLS is one of the few community law centres in Australia that has evolved into a holistic community service, with other services complementing the legal service to support people in need. PCLS strives to provide assistance to virtually everyone who walks through the door, and then targets more intensive services such as social work, advocacy, court representation, and community building for those affected or most at risk of social exclusion. PCLS not only provides legal advice and support, but also encourages and empowers people to develop skills to become their own lawyers. As a service delivery strategy, PCLS makes every effort to provide timely information, recommendations and advice to prevent problems from escalating.
