The Financial Services team provides legal support for the bank`s financial services, including Fedwire®, international and domestic distribution of currencies and coins, and account services to the U.S. Treasury, foreign central banks and international organizations, custodians and other clients. Prior to joining the bank, Laura was Assistant General Counsel at U.S. Foods, where she was responsible for employment law advice and managing the firm`s litigation portfolio. Laura also worked as an associate at the international law firm Paul Hastings LLP. In his current role, Mr. Ostrander oversees the legal coverage of BlackRock`s trading activities as well as the legal coverage of BlackRock solutions and related technology areas and topics. He is a member of several BlackRock Risk Management and Oversight Committees and an active leader in diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in the legal and compliance function. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2011, Mr. Ostrander was Managing Director responsible for the global legal coverage of Morgan Stanley`s fixed income division.
