You can get a learner`s licence if you are at least 15 years old and take a recognized driving course. You must provide proof by providing a valid registration form for the driver training certificate from the driver training course provider. You will also need to provide identification documents, take an eye exam and pass a knowledge test. You should also make sure that the L (or D in Wales) plates appear on the front and rear of the vehicle when the driver is driving. Don`t forget to remove them after each workout outing. If a driver holding a driver`s licence is convicted of a movement offence or sentenced to probation (PBJ), he or she must hold the licence for at least 9 months after the date on which he or she was convicted of a movement offence or granted to the PBJ.
